TUESDAY MORNING
Skinner told me in person on more than one occasion during football season that he was enrolling in January at Tulane. Most recently in late December and early January those plans had not changed. If there is some sort of hold up or change of plans I am pretty confident it is not on Skinners behalf.
I would not worry about it until next week. That said, we have had a couple players set to become members of the team that were here in town and even in classes already yet they were not "official" so that means Tulane cannot comment on them publicly per the rules.
Most if not all of the coaching staff is out of town until tonight or tomorrow at the AFCA conference. If their are any hold ups I would guess CJ or someone will be loudly knocking on doors when he returns.
BELOW ADDED TUESDAY NIGHT
Skinner is all Tulane but something out of his control and Tulane's control came up and he will likely not be able to enroll until May. He stands by his commitment and the staff is treating him like a 2014 commitment and will come in the summer with everyone else if everything works out as it is expected.
Tyler Gilbert and Taurean Nixon all had things that needed to get worked out and everything ended up working out fine eventually. Frustrating yes. Breathe.
