And then I read this today from Rick Dickson in an article in the Baton Rouge Advocate
"At least they are getting more academic support once they arrive. Tulane is adding majors that are more athlete-friendly this summer; Dickson cited physical therapy, exercise nutrition and homeland security as examples."
I have heard there will be around five new options available for all of the student body that some people would title "athlete-friendly" although I never understood why learning to become a teacher, work with sports injuries, work for the government, working with computers, working in the media or digital design would be considered "athlete friendly" - guess we don't need any of those types of people in society..........
