I read a few places where CJ gave Devin praise from Saturday and all I can say is that yesterday (and from what I was told all week) Devin looked phenomenal. Yesterday was incredible the way he threw the ball but you could see that he did not read the blitz very well but there were a couple plays Nick did the same thing. You have two guys competing and learning but if there were any people thinking that Nick was walking away with this thing without a fight yesterday was the day Powell stood atop the mountain and proclaimed
"Not so damn fast."
You don't get better without being pushed and Nick coming in made Devin a better football player already and Devin having a great (and I mean GREAT) last week of Spring - it will make Nick better this off season. To take it one step further - Tanner Lee was able to be on hand for much of the competition and now he knows he better get to work now.
I cannot wait until freaking August!
